You may know a fairly recent addition to Edith Street – Scattered Arts – which has a different approach to art.
According to their website, it is…
A collective of artists and crafters who offer a wide range of high-quality arts and crafts to buyers through a beautiful gallery in Edith Street, Wynnum, market days, pop-up shops and exhibitions.
It is also the longest running art and craft collective in Brisbane, which not only sells art but runs art workshops and events.
Talking of events, the next one is an art show at the Wynnum Community Centre Gallery in Florence Street called ‘Nature through your eyes’, which runs from 1pm on Friday 29th August until 3:30pm on Saturday 30th August.
