Two Saturdays ago a small but enthusiastic group of Wynnum shoppers descended on Wynnum as a ‘cashmob’ (see our previous article). Around twenty-five people took part and spent up big (well at least $25) in the shops we visited. After hauling ourselves around and finding all sorts of interesting little things to buy, for young and old alike, we repaired to WynnumCentral member Leanne’s Grouse Gourmet in Edith Street for much needed refreshment.
Although the event was part of Small Business Week and Buy Local Saturday, plenty of people were interested in doing it again.
