Trick or Treat in Wynnum draws over a thousand kids

Plus next event being planned

Organisers of Trick or Treat in the street in Wynnum Central on the afternoon of Halloween saw around 1,300 kids, most dressed for the occasion, come along, tempted by free lollies and the chance to win big. There were over a hundred entries for Pirate Pete’s treasure hunt and the winners were seven year old Cormac (first prize) and nine year old Theo (second prize).

More street events are being organised, the next being another Sidewalk Sale on Saturday 24th November, where there will be opportunities for buskers and for home businesses that would like to sell their wares (for a small participation fee) and for not-for-profit organisations. Anyone wanting to be involved should email Sharlene at The Crystal Rose Gallery at info@crystalrosegallery.com.au.
