Contrary to what you may have heard – Manson Framers is not closing!

A development application has been lodged for the block where Manson Framers is located just across the railway line from the Wynnum Central shopping precinct.

The application is for an 8 storey, 68 unit complex with a rooftop garden. This application – which has not yet been approved – may ultimately result in the proposed development (or an amended version of it) going ahead, however WynnumCentral understands that this process would ordinarily take at least 18 months if not substantially longer.

So the good news is that Manson Framers will not need to close or relocate anytime soon and they have confirmed to us that they continue to trade as normal.

Manson Framers was founded in Wynnum back in 1964 and current family members Cameron and Sharon have been involved in the business for over 30 years, offering quality picture framing and art and needlework supplies.

You may not know that Manson Framers are also appointed framers to the Republic of Wynnum for members of the Republic’s peerage who want to have their certificates of title framed!

The founder of Manson Framers, Keith Richardson (pictured left, to the right) also sadly passed away recently at the age of 86, ten years after losing his wife Laraine and youngest son Ian in 2012. His legacy continues with Cameron and Sharon.
