What’s on at the weekend?

If you like live music, you’re in for a bit of a treat in Wynnum (and close by) this weekend. Here are the events we know about*…

Acoustic Afternoons @ Wynnum Library
The Wynnum Library, which is now open longer on Saturdays (until 4pm) is hosting an afternoon of acoustic music at the library. Local musicians will be playing 2pm-3pm and it’s a free event. So if you fancy browsing the books and listening to live music at the same time, head down to the library.

Bands in the Park
An event organised by Brisbane City Council, this is on in Little Bayside Park in Manly 8am-3pm.

And of course the Wynnum RSL has live music on on Saturday (5.30pm-9.00pm) and Sunday (12.30pm-4.00pm), with Craig Taylor on Saturday and Michael Gant on Sunday.
