Frenchies Cafe now the place to get your pet their passport, aristocratic title

In what is probably a first in the world, the Republic of Wynnum now offers an opportunity for animals to join the peerage. The only Passport Office appointed to issue the special aristocratic passports (and certificates of titles) for animals is Frenchies Cafe in Bay Terrace.

All hail aristocatsAll you need to do is visit the cafe and speak to one of the staff. $15 gets you whatever title (within reason) you would like to bestow on your beloved pet, and you can pick up the passport and certificate of title on the spot. Frenchies does not currently offer passport photos as far as we are aware, although the Wynnum Herald did feature a very fetching photo of new aristocrat Princess Ella in last week’s edition.

Animal members of the peerage are featured on the ‘Peerage’ listing on the Republic’s official website – www.republicofwynnum.org.

So if you’re inclined to recognise that your pet is in fact royalty, head on down to Frenchies. And have a cup of coffee and maybe something to eat at the same time…
