Ike to get a plaque at the waterfront
Friends of local personality Ike, who passed away last year, have clubbed together to have a plaque made up in his memory, and are hoping to have it installed at the waterfront, on one of the benches or tables there. Ike was much loved by the local community (we wrote about him here and covered his funeral here) and it is fitting that he should be remembered in this way.
