Beauty and the Beast comes to Wynnum
The Savoyards theatre group will open the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast on 14th March at the Iona Performing Arts Centre in Wynnum.
If you’ve seen the film (and who hasn’t?) you’ll know the plot, and if you haven’t, you should go because it’s great!
With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, the Savoyards presentation is directed by Jason Ward Kennedy, who has been involved in theatre for over twenty years in Australia, New Zealand and Germany, performing in Les Miserables as well as briefly taking on the role of Captain Feathersword for The Wiggles.
Belle is played by Kate Milward and The Beast by Patrick Oxley.
