The Bay Belles come to Wynnum

On Thursday 29th March the Bay Belles QWCA (Queensland Country Women’s Association) officially opened in Wynnum. The aim of the new community group is to empower local women through fun, friendship and community work.

The group, which has been meeting since August last year and slowly growing its membership and following in the area, has now launched as a fully-fledged branch of the QCWA.

The evening featured a short ceremony electing office bearers are elected and was followed by celebrations and networking with other local groups and individuals.

We wish them well and look forward to hearing more from the Bay Belles in the future.
