Did you know that very first version of official ambulance transport in Queensland was a horse-driven carriage and cart?
If you’d like to take a trip down memory lane – or if you’re simply curious – you should go along to the Wynnum Ambulance Museum Open Day where you’ll find a treasure trove of refurbished ambulance vehicles, past uniforms and old forms of ambulance communications, and of course the aforementioned horse and cart ambulance.
The open day is being held from 10am-1pm on Sunday 21 September at the museum at 31-33 Tingal Road.
