Wynnum library official opening

Mark Saturday 28th May on your calendar – this is the day that the new Wynnum library, located above the new Woolworths on the site of the old school in Florence Street, will open its doors. Brisbane City Council is laying on some fun and entertainment for the morning, running from 9am until around 1pm.

The Lord Mayor of Brisbane Graham Quirk will officially open the library at 10.30am
and then at 10.50am the cannon, relocated from outside the old library, will be unveiled in its new spot in the newly named Wynnum Central Park.
