Australia Day breakfast cancelled again

This time last week the local Australia Day Committee decided to cancel this year’s planned traditional Australia Day breakfast celebrations next week due to the continuing COVID situation as well as current supply chain problems affecting their ability to source food supplies.

The committee are keeping their fingers crossed for 2023.

Two related activities are still going ahead – the Australia Day Colouring In Competition (entry form here) and the Scope Australia Day Award, for which nominations are still open (nominations can be submitted to the Scope Club here – in the mail to PO Box 184 Wynnum 4178, via email [email protected] or phone Jenny on 07 3396 7318 or Annabelle on 0405 065 009).
