Shop Small Australia
The week of 23rd – 30th November will be Shop Small Week in Australia. It started off as a one day event in the United States to encourage communities to support their local small businesses and this is its first outing in Australia. It is supported by American Express, and if you have an Amex card and use it during that week at participating outlets, you can earn up to 5 $10 statement credits.
According to this week’s Wynnum Herald there are three Wynnum Central businesses that are part of the initiative, although we know there are more. Just look for the Shop Small badge in the store.

There are a quite a few. Best place to check is the Shop Small Week site – scroll down to ‘Where to shop small in your neighbourhood’ and then type in Wynnum at the prompt + all the places come up. Hope this helps.
