Wynnum’s biggest event is back again this year

and starts in just 12 days (and short preview at Wynnum West Shopping Centre tomorrow morning)

Wynnum Fringe which this year runs from Wednesday 15th November until Sunday 3rd December is even bigger and better than last year! With headline acts Daryl Braithwaite, Marcia Hines, Diesel, Rhonda Burchmore, Jimeoin, Wil Anderson and not forgetting Bluey & Bingo, the festival will have over 90 different acts participating over the 18 days.

Since it kicked off in 2020 the Wynnum Fringe has seen a three fold increase in ticket sales each year, and not just locals, but people coming from right across Australia (and over 70,000 attendees to date!). At the same time it’s generated over $2.5 million for the local economy and employed over 1,000 people working in the arts. As we reported here, in March 2022 Wynnum Fringe won the most prestigious award in the Queensland Industry, the Gold Matilda for outstanding contributions to the Arts & Entertainment industry.

New additions to the Fringe this year are ‘Mini Fringe’ for the younger crew and the finale ‘Rock the Bay’ on the last day of the festival featuring Daryl Braityhwaite, Marcia Hines, The Bamboos, Hope D, Loretta Ryan and festival founder Tom Oliver (pictured above), with a secret roller disco on too!

Ticket sales are now open online at wynnumfringe.com, plus right now they’re running a draw to win a brand new J-Pod-X Camper Trailer – all you need to do is buy a ticket to be in the draw.
